Circulatory system review

3) Pulmonary system: Goes through Right atrium to right ventricle. Then through the semi lunar valve and out the pulomary artery to the lungs to get oxygenated.

Systemic system: Out the left ventricle, passed through the aortic semi lunar valve then out the aorta and goes through the systemic circulatory track and then de oxygenated blood is returned to the heart.

  • oxygenated blood                                               de oxygenated blood
  • smaller lumen                                                      bigger lumen
  • thinner                                                                thicker
  • no valves                                                            has valves
  • blood from heart to body                                   blood from body to heart
